Is this how you spell kimono?

Tracy has been busy recently.  She made herself a kimono using a pattern

from the latest Sewing Bee book.

She found this lovely chiffon fabric in the Birmingham Rag Market and it all went

together smoothly until……..

the black border!!!!!!!

You cut things out exactly and yet they don’t fit…why?????

Eventually after a lot of faffing around the kimono was complete and ready for an outing.

I joined Tracy wearing my latest Sorbeto – with my first inverted pleat.  The fabric was from Guthrie & Ghani (my favourite shop).
